about

here is the second part of Blinded By The Corporate Sun, if you've listened to the first one you'll have an idea of what you're getting into.

i'll admit though, i thought this one out more, it came out worse.

so here's the deal i know making an album almost entirely without instruments isn't the greatest idea, but i did that again and to my joy i bought a new Olympus VN-541PC hand recorder for 20 bucks.

i wrote some lyrics, thought of beats and worked some parts out on my KORG Duo Space and Time Delay monotron Analogue Ribbon Synthesizer. (Long name for a device you can fit in your pocket.)

any way being stuck at the gas station by myself again i spent the five days playing and recording parts when it got slow.

day six (08/11/2018) i dumped everything i recorded onto my computer and began looking through my large amount of files, only to realize to my dismay sounded like shit. i had nearly three hours of recordings and it all sounded bad.

anyway i picked through what sounded the best to me, most of it was unusable. i love noise but only when i make it on purpose.

i worked with what i had and got this worked out, then it sat; for a few months.

12/05/2018 i came back to the recordings again and tried to smooth them out a little and then i named the tracks and put them it an order i liked.

next was the album art. i drew many drawings, but hated them all. came up with the idea to have some friends draw me one for fun.

made a post on 12/16/2018 about the album art idea.

simply just a gas pump at an abandoned gas station in the desert.

many people responded saying they would make one but didn't get any art until late January. just one piece.

i got a cool chalk drawing from my mom.

anyway i'm here now typing everything up and releasing the album.

it's basically a noise album, but enjoy.

keep a look out for part 3 (Eventually...)

credits

released February 15, 2019

I'd like to thank work once again for leaving me alone at the gas station which i hate.

I'd also like to thank Olympus the corporation which made the shitty hand recorder making this mess of an album possible. (But seriously don't buy it)

Korg who made the wonderful tiny ribbon synth i love to use.

my friends (Jonno, Trevor, Billy and Chris) who listened to the album several times prior to it's release for input.

and last but not least Lori my mother who drew the cover for me.
